On 15 November 2004, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published revised, improved version of its ISO 14001 standards. ISO 14001 was first published in 1996 and now ISO 14001:2004 is published. Organizations certified'to ISO 14001:1996 are required to implement ISO 14001:2004 as soon as possible. In this connection 18-month transition plan has also been released. To help organizations to conduct training programmes/seminars/workshops on "What's New in ISO 14001:2004", NCQM Ajmer Centre has released a training pack containing 65 presentation slides. Х Training Pack on THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT 2005' AWARENESS (General Awareness Version)
Lok Sabha of our country has passed the Right to Information Bill 2005 on 11 may 2005. The Right to Information Act, 2005' (No. 22 of 2005) received the assent of the President on 15 June 2005 and thereafter the same has been published for general information in the Gazette of India dated 21 June 2005. The Right to Information Act, 2005' is an Act to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority. There is a need to create awareness among citizens (including public authorities) of India. Looking to this, K. R. Singhal and Dr Divya Singhal have compiled a training presentation pack (containing 42 slides). This training pack can be used by trainers, organizations and NGOs to conduct training programmes / seminars / workshops on the awareness of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
